I was so pleased with how quickly they accommodated our needs, especially after we had a stressful arrival experience elsewhere, and I appreciated the welcoming vibe during our stay which made exploring the nearby Asilomar State Beach a breeze just a short walk away.

The Queen Room with Two Queen Beds and Fireplace was really comfy! The room was a good size. It had a microwave and fridge, which made things super convenient. The shower was awesome with huge marble slabs instead of plastic. The whole vibe was cozy with the fireplace too. Just a nice place to relax.

I thoroughly enjoyed the cozy fireplace in my room, creating a warm ambiance that made my stay feel like a peaceful retreat. The clean and well-kept common areas were also easily accessible, perfect for seniors like me.

A wider breakfast selection would be appreciated.

If you’re into local eats, Pacific Grove has some gems! Just a hop-skip away from Deer Haven Inn, we found killer seafood and delightful vegetarian dishes that hit all the right notes—who knew dining could be such an adventure? Plus, the morning coffee situation was cozy, and the fireside vibes at the reception made for the perfect chill spot. And, I mean, being so close to Asilomar beach is a major win!

Now, for the not-so-rosy bits, while the fireplace in our room added charm, it also cranked out some serious noise, which wasn’t ideal for a good night’s sleep. Plus, it felt oddly barren outside. the landscaping just didn’t have that previous flair! Could use a little more love, ya know?

Charming stay with pet-friendly atmosphere.

During my stay at Deer Haven Inn, I appreciated the cozy ambiance provided by the fireplace in my room. Clean common areas added to the comfort, perfect for unwinding after my adventures exploring the area.

Had a great time with friends here! We visited the Aquarium and watched the sunset at Fisherman's Wharf. Clean, comfy rooms and a cozy fireplace made our stay perfect. It’s in a great spot for kayaking and more outdoor fun. Breakfast was a nice touch to start our day!

Only downside was the breakfast selection. could’ve been a bit better, but it was still decent.

Unfortunately, the lack of breakfast options was a downside, and the property felt a bit noisy at times due to thin walls. Additionally, the room wasn’t ready until 4 PM, which was inconvenient.

i recently stayed one night here and loved how cozy and clean my room was, complete with a charming fireplace. after numerous visits to pacific grove, this experience exceeded my expectations, especially with the friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. being just a block away from asilomar beach was a major bonus for morning walks.

Everything was amazing

i had a lovely stay at deer haven inn. the grounds are so quaint and filled with beautiful potted flowers. my room had a fireplace, a microwave, and a refrigerator which was super convenient. also, the shower was made from huge marble slabs, adding a nice touch!

This place was a balanced option for a short interlude in Pacific Grove with great value. The room was spacious and very clean. It had a cozy fireplace. It's best to drive to downtown for food since it can get dark walking at night.
